Introduction

BOHAMET was established in 1985 by Henryk Bogusz and Jarosław Halarewicz, who still are the company’s board. Throughout the 25 years plus on the market, the company has been able to establish a strong position in many sectors of the industry. The main area of its operations are marine products, for which the company is acknowledged both domestically as well as abroad. Right from the very beginning, the owners of BOHAMET have been making substantial and carefully thought-out investments. The machines and plant structure are constantly upgraded.

At present, the company’s facility is divided into three groups of buildings, according to their production profile. Each group consists of production departments using similar technologies. And thus the marine products together with aluminium windows and doors and explosion-proof products for the mining industry form a separate group from the industrial fittings or the glass treatment line.At the heart of the company is the design department, with its highly qualified team of engineers. We have always strived for the top quality of our products – and this, in combination with a systematic arrangement of internal process, has led to earning the ISO 9000:2000 certificate.

Today, the BOHAMET brand is recognised in all parts of the world. In the shipbuilding industry, we are considered to be a supplier of first-class products; and the manufacture of our explosion-proof goods has been a proof of highly developed engineering solutions and technological advancement. The company provides various services connected with its production profile, this includes the extensive service department, which responds to the needs of shipyards located in many faraway parts of the world.
